The advantages of 201 stainless steel:
201 is the cheapest type of stainless steel. The chromium content is 16-18, the nickel content is only 0.3-1.2, the nickel content of LH is about 0.3, the nickel content of L1 is about 1, and the nickel content of Lan is earlier than 0.6.
201 has a lower nickel content, only 0.08-0.3. There are also many 201 rolled sheets on the market, and the price is relatively much cheaper. 201 The kitchen uses a lot of equipment, and the tableware is not used very much. The surface of 201 is slightly worse than that of 304, and the punching performance is also poor.
shortcoming:
Chromium content below 18% and low nickel content are unbalanced to form ferrite. As a result, the chromium content in 200 series stainless steels is reduced to 13.5%-15%, and in some cases to 13%-14%. Its corrosion resistance cannot be compared to 304 and other similar steels.
In addition, manganese, and in some cases copper reduce the repassivation effect under acidic conditions common in deposition zones and crevice corrosion sites. Under these conditions, the destruction rate of 200 series steel is 10-100 times that of 304 stainless steel.
